My name is Brenda & I’m the owner + candle maker located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and no I have not seen a ghost. I have joined my graphic design background with my love of fragrance to bring you SummerCay Candle. All my candles are made from natural soy wax, grown & harvested in the US, & non-toxic high quality fragrances– 100% phthalate-free! In a world with so many harsh chemicals affecting us daily, I work hard to make all my products as clean as possible for you & our environment.

When I’m not immersed in creating, I cherish moments with my 15 year old dog, Endor, who’s been by my side through it all these past 15 years & my fluffy Main Coon, Aslan, who adds warmth & lots of unwanted hair to our home. We love him! Beyond work & pets, my life is enriched by my supportive husband & our two beautiful daughters, Lilah Summer & Khloe Cay. My family inspire me daily to purse my entrepreneurial dreams with my creativity & resilience & I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. They are my team!
