I'm Brenda, the owner + candle maker behind SummerCay Candle, where each candle is crafted to spark cherised memories with every burn. SummerCay was created when the need for a creative outlet and my love for home fragrance came together in 2022. Today, I handcraft candles that capture the comfort, nostalgia + vibe of each season.

With a background in graphic design, I've always believed in less is more- a philosophy that guides the clean, minimalistic design of each candle, packaging, AND ingredients. Being a wife + mom to two incredible little humans whose middle names are Summer and Cay-inspires me to create candles that bring warmth, nostalgia, and comfort into your home, while keeping harmful toxins out.

For this reason, each SummerCay candle is hand-poured in small batches using natural soy wax, sustainably planted and harvested in the US, and thoughtfully paired with non-toxic, 100% phthalate-free fragrances. All while capturing cozy vibes + memories of the season.
